Hi
Does anyone know if the seats from a 1300 Riley Kestrel will fit a 65 Mini?
Not seen them yet think they are recliners.

They will fit but are bigger so take up more room and do require a bit of thought as the mounting is quite different. I recall having to make brackets to fit them to the tunnel. Lovely comfortable seats once fitted. Don't recall them reclining but mine were from a Mk1. Seats from later cars probably did.

From memory, 1100/1300 seats bolt in but there's not enough room to get at the handbrake.

Back in the 1970's a friend of mine managed to fit the full leather seats from a Vanden Plas 1100 (complete with fold down picnic tables in the back) into his Mini but as you say the handbrake was quite difficult to access!Costafortune wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 6:57 pm From memory, 1100/1300 seats bolt in but there's not enough room to get at the handbrake.

For a real challenge fit the front seats from an Aussie Morris 1100! Note the gear lever.
