brake servo and distributor refurb

Post by coopertim »

Hi all

Can anyone recommend anywhere that reconditions brake servos and distributors and roughly how much they cost? I know its like saying how long is a piece of string but rough figures would do.

Cheers. Tim.

I really can't commend Martins work highly enough, let him know your engine spec & he'll get the advance curve something like at the same time..

I don't have any personal recommendations for Servos though, but I am sure someone did recommend someone fairly recently.

Mark, maybe you are thinking about Paul Stanworth (http://bmccomps.co.uk/)? I think someone recommended him a while ago for the servos refurbishment.
Tim, see his site for the details on repaired servos.

Or you can do it like me, bought a new servo from Minispares and then decided to keep the original. I used all the internals from the new servo to repair the old one as they were the same bore size, etc.
