Moss question .. the green stuff.
Moss back in the day grew in the window channels on my 997 Cooper also on my mk1 Woodie so much that we called it the Greenhouse.. fast forward 50 plus years & i still get Moss growing on my daily car ..starts out as green stuff in the window slider seals ..ok these today vehicles live outside full time just as did those long past Minis .. so the Question is what is the best fix to stop Moss growing in my modern vehicles window seals .. there must be something suitable under our kitchen sink given all the cleaning spray stuff her indoors keeps there .. asking your advice as dont want to bugger up the modern Rubber Window Seals?

Yes, got this problem with my Golf GTi Mk5 side windows I chivvy it out with a piece of wood ( a Costa tea stirrer is a good start) and then slosh on a weak bleach solution from a bowl, using a 1" paintbrush to get into the ends and the stuff that remains. After it dries out any of the now dead moss stuff just flicks out with a paintbrush

Re: Moss question .. the green stuff.
To kill moss dilute white wine vinegar 50/50 with water that will kill it but it won't stop it coming back,
all note I said white wine VINEGAR don't waste the real stuff it's too expensive!!!
Then as Peter says just brush it away
Good for cleaning smeared oily windscreen as well
