Waterslide Decals

Post by indigo »

Does anyone know where I can purchase the waterslide decals for the 997 Cooper air filters and red jack?
I Say Ding Dong do stickers for the filters, but I would like original style waterslide ones.

Paul offered the airbox waterslides a while ago.

Here is his sale ad:

I got mine from an Austin Healey parts supplier on Ebay I recall. Will dig around and find the address.

Apparently Moss Motors does them too.

I got mine via another supplier but they came with the same pdf instructions. So don't know who actually makes them, but they are spot on. I have a nos filter to compare against.

I have some. I just received them a couple of weeks ago and haven't advertised yet. The one shown here is on a Healey filter, but are copies of the original 997/early 1071 waterslide.

Paul,
Do you have the waterslide decals for the early red jack?
We would be happy to buy a refurbished jack, but postage to Australia would be a bit pricy, considering we already have the jack.

To be honest I've never seen waterslide decals on a red jack, only the paper decals that are available from a couple of members here on the Forum. Can you share a photo?

My mistake, I should have done some more research first. They are indeed the paper style. Thankyou.

If you do use the stick-on paper stickers on your newly refurbished jack, might I suggest that you cover the stick-ons +1/4" all round with some of that heavy duty Gorilla clear tape to protect them - and hold them secure. The gorilla tape is not noticeable whereas marks on the stickers are!
