Re: chassis plate stamping.
Tim at Minimail is still doing plates. BUT! He is currently in the middle of moving house / Workshop so everything is a bit "up in the air" at the moment.
I am sure that he will be ion touch soon.
This has been a MASSIVE move for Tim, so please bear with him. He really is "one of the good guys".

Quote below from Tim's Minimail website:-
News
"After 30 years at our farm we are moving on 4th July!
Orders for stamping plates will be delayed over the next few weeks
Hereafter I will be selling off the new stock by mail order I have and carrying on with bits and pieces of used and doing the plates."

Yes , I have had a busy time , thankyou Mark for kind intervention
I've put a few more pics of before and after my move
https://www.flickr.com/photos/28276454@ ... 119696930/
Several collectable bits dissapeared one way or another (see new gearbox box on bonfire) but in the event I didn't have time to have a proper sale before we went and not even a party
I was sad to not to have had time and hope all those visiting in the last 30 years have had some fun out of it. I certainly have.
Those with sharp eyes will spot a Mini Shop sticker still on my empty office wall (ex employees of Mr Dodd fan club )
I've kept odds and sods to sell off in time. I may do shows so I can get out and about

Re: chassis plate stamping.
I still have a few things from you that I got in your previous premises Tim, not least a brand new Austin Badge for my wife's car that I have never fitted. A great second hand one you also sold me is on the car instead. There is a credit card receipt in an envelope from one of those old card swipe reader things - which I had forgotten even existed!Tim Harber wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2024 10:31 pm Yes , I have had a busy time , thankyou Mark for kind intervention

But I may be on touch regards another chassis plate as the one you did for me back then seems to have done a runner. The safe place I must have put it in is one of those 'too safe' ones!! It has taken me a good while to finally get to the stage where I need it (24 years ish).
