I believe Nippycars is making them:

https://nippycarsonline.com/product/re ... ning-seat/

Haven’t seen a picture of the finished article that I’m aware of, but I’m sure it’ll be top notch quality in line with their other goods!

There was one at Beaulieu and it looked very close to my genuine ones. The plain black handles are a giveaway but otherwise very good. A good original is worth more of course

I have just purchased an original drivers seat from a elderly gentleman that used to rally a 1275'S' in the '60's

I understand the seat has been in storage since the mid '70's a remarkable find.

The condition is totally original and is in remarkable condition for the age a real time warp item.

Lovely, I have a pair with a similar story. Only used a few times a years for rallies in our ownership. They were fitted from new in early 64 and are remarkable. Wonder what you paid and dare I ask, any pics please?

BTW I know of a new one still in its box!!!

I tried to download pictures but apparently the file is too large.

Planning on listing the seat, for sale as I no longer have a MK1 once I get around to it.
