Van Rear Window Fitting
I managed to get one of the windows installed before tearing the seal on the second. Do you first install the seal on the glass then install the seal + glass in the door or do you install the seal in the door then fit the glass to the seal?

Re: Van Rear Window Fitting
My answer would be seal to window into the rubber with string wrapped 1 1/2 times around the outer groove with both ends exposed at the bottom. Lots of KY gel into the outer groove to lube the string and van door.
From INSIDE the door, slip rubber into bottom of window aperture and pull string slowly around.
That way the lubed string pulls the lubed rubber seal OUT and allows it to overlap the OUTside of the door. Get a friend to guide and support the window and it'll be done in a minute. Even quicker if you are using new pliable rubber seals
Others might say differently but that's how I did it recently

Thanks Peter - that worked nicely. Painless compared to how I did the first one.
