It has been quite awhile since I machines a 998 block for 1275 valve pockets. I also drill mine for the extra head studs. I seem to recall using the 1275 gasket and having to plug and drill a cooling passage to match gasket and head? Steve (CTR)

New question! Ready to reassemble head, which head gasket to use……? The Victor Reinz composite one, or the uprated Minispares copper jobby, or their lower spec copper oe gasket? Also with Wellseal or not? Mmmmmmm?

I think the Victor Reinz ones are quite well rated.
Of course I know what a dipstick is, you get called something often enough you look it up!
