Thanks for posting, an interesting study, wonder what the sample size was, couldn’t see it in the notes.
I doubt if any Mini parts supplier would have the ability to test the studs, so would rely on the supplier to inspect before shipping, if indeed the supplier would have the ability………I suppose the mini supplier could insist on inspection certification……maybe some do?
Where as ATP would be mad not to have a thorough inspection regime in place, as they sell reliability.
For the above reasons, personally I would only ever use ATP, they are expensive, but I feel they are cheap insurance
