Very nice although maybe a cheaper option would be this "works" shell. If it says works on the heritage certificate it must be!

Yeh, always tough to value in my opinion but must cost a fortune to create.

A Heritage Cert that states Works Car is reference to the first registered owner being the Factory.. for example The Austin Motor Co; Longbridge.

They all look too restored to me, all brand new interior trim, looks lovely but not much patina.

That Auction Red Mk2 is on Dry Suspension which for me would be a major negative.

For me it would be a major positive, as I’ve discovered my Mk2 sagging in the garage with a bulge out of the side of one of the front displacers… talking of which, does anyone have a good displacer they’d like to sell? Wanted ad coming…

Appreciate there are differing opinions on this and I get the originality and comfort arguments for wet.

But for me, I see dry as a positive. I would only buy a dry car these days.

I do prefer dry handling, but mainly, I just don't want the potential suspension hassles......especially as things (inc me) get older and more unreliable.
