hi
a few questions 1 the side windows is the hinge fixed to the body with threaded screws or self tapping screws
2 where does the interior light fit
3 also the door switches for above light where do they fit

On my '79 Mk 4, Rear windows have self tapping screws
Interior light on the "B" post (on the drivers side only) Mine is LHD so on the LHS.
Switches on the "A" pillar below the top hinge

On a mk1 the piano hinge is screwed into the body with self tappers, five a side. Gordon sells the correct type on the catmint site

The interior light is screwed into the centre of the front section of the headliner and there’s a specific section of reinforcement in the frame to accommodate. This is for mk1 and 2 cars. The mk3 had a specific pressing as part of the side cant rail to accommodate a clip in lamp assembly.

hi all the car is a 1971 clubman australian made old body from windscreen back clubman front does this make a difference there are holes in the a pillar above the top hinge maybe 5/16 dia this was a stripped out shell when i got it so i am flying blind but making progress
