Great stuff Winabbey. With drawing,s like that i think someone should start remaking them, as would save me trying to make 2 without the skill,s or equipment. Here,s hoping, Tim

If that were me rebuilding my grille, and not being a sucker for originality - or punishment - I'd just get 2x suitable lengths of stainless guillotined off to thickness, clamp them together, and drill the holes as per the spec. Bent joggled end to dog-leg shape and rivet grille together. That's it, for life. That's just me I suppose.

Tim, I have a couple of original stays if you want them, also have a couple of my reproduction end plates if required. I haven't got around to making the stays yet.

If you want to check the dimensions and hole positions of your reproduction end plates here's the engineering drawing for it.

Doug, I can see why you are Mr BMC publications! Together with Bob you'll put heritage out of business at this rate. Top work!

Good lord, those look like they were discovered in a cave with the remains of an ancient hominid.

Is anyone making the slat supports? Could do with a pair as mine have the ends cut off?
