Great stuff Winabbey. With drawing,s like that i think someone should start remaking them, as would save me trying to make 2 without the skill,s or equipment. Here,s hoping, Tim

Re: Morris Cooper grill slat support orientation
If that were me rebuilding my grille, and not being a sucker for originality - or punishment - I'd just get 2x suitable lengths of stainless guillotined off to thickness, clamp them together, and drill the holes as per the spec. Bent joggled end to dog-leg shape and rivet grille together. That's it, for life. That's just me I suppose.

Tim, I have a couple of original stays if you want them, also have a couple of my reproduction end plates if required. I haven't got around to making the stays yet.

If you want to check the dimensions and hole positions of your reproduction end plates here's the engineering drawing for it.1071bob wrote:Tim, I have a couple of original stays if you want them, also have a couple of my reproduction end plates if required. Doug, I can see why you are Mr BMC publications! Together with Bob you'll put heritage out of business at this rate. Good lord, those look like they were discovered in a cave with the remains of an ancient hominid.1071bob wrote:Cheers Winabbey,
