Is there any cut off time for camping? We are competing in west wales on the 4th and will travel up after so not quite sure what time we will get there.

In recent years, the gate is usually closed to look like it is locked, but you can still get in OK.

Looking to make the trip to Blyton, sadly my mini will not be ready to make the trip this year so will be arriving in a modern car. Can someone answer a few questions for me please. Is there parking for non minis, is it just a track day or is there a show / minis parked up that you can look at and drool over, are there food stools amenities etc. Depending on answers will determine whether I come on my own or drag my wife and daughter along too :D Thanks in advance.

Yes, there is non mini parking, but you may have a bit of a walk in, only a 100 yards or so, though. Yes, there are always lots of non track cars to see, there are all the usual amenities, a good cafe, bogs etc.

Everyone is welcome, just turn up, drop a donation in the bucket & fill your boots.

Have we got any other volunteers to help me and Janet out on the gate/parking/collecting (performing miracles if the field is closed)? Not sure if we can arrive on Saturday night or just early Sunday yet

We also have myself, Mark, my son George and Jeff who’s very kindly volunteered so no worries hopefully.

First glimpse of this years repurposed trophies.

There will also be a few very special awards this year courtesy of our much missed friend & member Frank "The Count" Hubbard.

My nephew Oliver turned 16 this year and is now, after attending the event for the last years, finally eligible for a passenger pass. If you see him wondering around the paddock with a black helmet in hand could you give him a passenger ride please, he's buzzing with excitement for the weekend.

Andy,

Adam's bringing the supercharged 999 so if he wants to be really scared, tell Oliver to come & find us any time in the Morning.

Ground conditions are still fairly soggy on site but I’m due an update on Friday with Angela at Blyton as regards usage of grassed areas for camping. It’s safe to say that tents will be fine but the grassed camping area is very likely to be out of bounds for Motorhomes, as last year! I’ll update on Friday

I can't get my head around how quickly this has crept up on me!

Tweed will be emerging from his Winter slumbering tomorrow and I hope to get him fit enough on Saturday to make the long journey over from the depths of Lancashire to Blyton on Sunday.

Last year's was by far the best Mini event I've ever been to, and thus I'm really looking forward to this years! :D

Another £30 will be going into Pete's bucket from Pirelli seat webbing sales to Fabio, David Brown, Gordon and Mr Rusty850.

Thanks for you business :)
