Aiming to take the car on holiday to the south west during that week. Got a few bits to do first though!

Head swap
Plug a few oil leaks
Sound deadening
Fit the carpets
Thoroughly clean microcells and install
Tune up..

ADO 16 meet at the Boston micro-car museum for us - provided the weather plays nicely.

Should have been at the A47 jumble/car show today but the muddy ground conditions have put paid to that.

From a farm shop near Moreton in Marsh for breakfast to follow a route book to Shelsley Walsh and up the hill with the MAC. Really looking forward to the run. Looking forward to meeting up with the Harber "wife Mini" mobile

I saw the MAC crew leaving from the Classic Motor Hub... looked a great turn out... weather was amazing if cold...

Good selection of folks turned up to the classic motor hub... who owns AOK?, looked an interesting car, didn't get chance to catch you.

Every Lancia Beta in the country seemed to be there too... :D
Cheers

MAC Classic - 2 big local sausages were in each breakfast bap and coffee was good. Good turnout and great variety of cars, and the sun was shining. Had fun at the start when I couldn't believe the number of TVRs arriving as we were about to leave. Oh yes it was also a meeting for Ferrari owners, one had a reg ending TVR ???? Excellent road book for a route of about 100 miles with some VERY narrow lanes including one locally to me which I hadn't been along (! I suspect Simon W knows it), lots of pot holes but spaced just right for the Mini - but not the Porsche who let me go past very quickly as he was weaving his way very slowly along the lane. In another lane close to Shelsley it went dark as I met a BIG TRACTOR ("and I mean BIG") with even BIGGER BLACK tyres.
Great run up the hill and an excellent afternoon tea with a big "subway" filled roll and of course a cream tea.
A very social event helped with the good weather and dry roads.
Another 200 miles on the clock. Quite a few Minis on the run and would you believe a Maestro Turbo (boy they were a handful on full acceleration!)
Good to spend time with Julian & Tricia and the Fosters. Her car is really nice as is the GT.
Sorry not many pictures but I have a few thanks to phone camera; they are so good now and always available. Note to self - Organise a window mount for taking video footage.
