Differences on Early MK1 to later MK1 Minis

Hey guys

I was wondering, I think I read somewhere there are a few differences between early and late MK1 minis, I think if I recall one of these is the twin handbrake lever?

Can someone give the details and when these changes took place the year 1965 seems to resonate with me.
