My Mk IV '79
rear bumper has 3 mounting bolts welded to the 3 bumper supports, but rear body valence has 5 holes. There is no evidence of a couple of the supports have become un-welded from the bumper and lost. How many bumper bolts should there have been ?

Early 5 bolts, later 3 bolts. Don't know change point but I'd say, 1979 it'd be 3 bolts. Cost cutting I expect
