Interior Trim question
Were these aluminium/stanless covers standard fitment or is this a later addition by an owner perhaps?

They are standard on some (possibly all) MK1's, My S has them, I'm sure someone will know exactly which cars they were fitted to

Standard across the board from early MK1 to the end of MK2 production. Some later ones were however made of plastic.
