Anybody know what the wheels are? They look a bit like Cosmic Ribsters but nicer.

Re: wheel arches question?
These are the BMC Australia designed factory flares. The original tooling is owned by Minisport Australia who sell the style for the Clubman body and the round-nose body. It is essential to have the metal backing strips to suit.

Re: wheel arches question?
Yes,
The arches are the Oz clubman arches imported from MiniSport Australia. I made the backing strips from aluminium and pop rivetted it to the flange, rather than welding on steel ones.
Wheels are GKN Silverstones in the rarer (?) 10x5" size. Couldn't get the correct nuts so had top-hat inserts made to allow use of the Mini Special type nuts.

Re: wheel arches question?
Minisport Australia also do a competition version of these arches.
Same design but slightly wider.

Re: wheel arches question?
May I ask how these are mounted? The steel supports are welded on?
Are there any pictures?

Re: wheel arches question?
Originally, yes welded on and the arch clipped to the extension.
As above, I pop riveted mine on. Then bonded the arch to the extension. This way they could be removed and returned back to the standard U.K. type arch if ever wanted.

Spot welded in the factory; pop-rivetted in the field if welding is not available.
