Hi all, I'm currently looking at two quotes one from Lancaster (KGM) and the other from Footman James (AGEAS).
Can anyone advise of their experience with either of these providers (or suggest an alternative)?
TIA, G.

Re: Agreed value Insurance
I changed to www.abbeyfieldsinsurance.co.uk ( broker ). for my classic fleet. Policy is with KGM. I was with RH Insurance for years but shopped around and ended up with Abbeyfields. Dealt with very helpful guy called Stuart Moore. No call centre rubbish either.

Re: Agreed value Insurance
Steve will know best..but..
when the worst happened flux gave me a hard time, but they did pay out in full and I’d bought an add on policy that if the vehicle was a total loss they would pay out an extra 25% on top of the agreed value..normally I never buy add on’s but it was the best £30 I’ve ever spent..
Just to add I have my 3 minis still insured with them and they haven’t increased the premium since the claim.
I wish the actions and accounts of Sainsburys bank home insurance were as good as flux, the house is still unfinished over 18 months on

Re: Agreed value Insurance
Thanks all, I had to decide by 3pm today so went with Lancaster (KGM). Hopefully I won't need to claim and will have a re-think next December. Thanks again! G.

Re: Agreed value Insurance
Don’t forget the likes of Adrian Flux are only the broker and essentially act only as a post office with claims with very little authority. That’s why I always bang on about who is the actual insurer, should you be unfortunate and have to claim, and hence my comment Ageas over KGM any day.
I still need to ring you Dave, will do this week when I get a minute.

Re: Agreed value Insurance
I had a dual policy with Cherished Vehicle Insurance/Aplan Insurance underwritten by KGM!
I no longer have my Classic, but still have my Daily insured by them .
As with most Insurance you only find out how good they are when you claim, I had the misfortune
to damage the tailgate and smash the rear window on my Volvo XC40 , no third party involvement
my own fault so should have been strait forward !
It took four weeks and a fair amount of phone calls to get authorisation from KGM their excuse originally
was that the repairers had sent the estimate for repairs via the wrong Auto Tex system ! then one excuse
after the other, they then blamed the Accident management Company .
I have delt with all the top Insurance Companies (maybe a few years ago now) but never experienced
such a bad Company to deal with.
I will be changing companies in January on renewal time .
