MK1 Traveller grille

Anyone know the change point of the painted grille to the chrome grille on the MK1 Mini Traveller???

I don't have an AKD parts book for these variants.

Countryman or Traveller? The Countryman had the 'crinkly' Austin grille which was always chromed.

The Traveller had the pressed Morris 850 grille which was initially painted white, but switched to chromed later. I'm not sure exactly when, but you don't seem to see painted grilles on external tank Travellers, so I'd guess some time in 1961. The June 1961 parts book only lists one grille ARA99

Found the answer on the MK1 Performance site...the AKD parts book states the exact VIN number change for the grille.
Chrome grille P/N ARA138 changed at M-AW4 12588...
