Looks all wrong with those lights :(
Are they Austin 3litre lights turned at 90degs?

I think they were Facel Vega?

That's possible too. It's quite possible they used something a little more exotic :)

Marchal Megalux was the name, specialy made by Marchal for Facel Vega. :lol:

Yes I would agree. The headlights in the first B&W photo look like Facel Vega units
The colour photos when the car is black use Austin 3 litre headlamps turned 90 degrees.

Despite claims by a certain infamous classic car dealer recently that Peter Sellers owned several Radfords (including the one they were trying to flog for a quarter of a million) and my theory that actually he didn’t own any at all this article pretty much speaks volumes about his plans for owning any more Minis in 1964, offloading his Hooper within a year of getting it due to the amount of time he was spending out of the U.K!

Just found this lurking in my hard drive, a LHD Italian registered Raddie which appears to have been through W&P's workshop too judging by the arches and the bodyside chrome trim in line with the door handle...

The registration does not look italian, more like a spanish reg. The text seems spanish too.
Yes I am a nerd: I am researching the Austrian Mini-racing scene of the 60s and 70s :ugeek:
