What IS this part!?

Hi all,

Following my resto, I had this particular part left over! I'd cleaned and painted it, but after two years, I still haven't worked out where it belongs!

Any ideas? Is it even from my Mini?! Can anyone post a picture of where it belongs?

From the throttle pedal, I think.

So it fits under the right hand pedal box bolt, and sits out so that the top of the throttle pedal arm rests on the rubber bit, yeah?
