That is the best fit of trim round Gp2 arches that I have ever seen!

On the rollers at Southam yesterday, great job by Colin, fitting a new manifold gasket and uping the jets to 185s.
140bhp at the flywheel at 6200rpm.

Can't believe it's going on 6 years since I bought this!
Still going strong and enjoying using it more that any of my road cars.
SMMC engine still pulls like a train and has been very reliable!.
Bit of lightening by fitting alloy door skins and bonnet has removed around15kg, and will be fitting an alloy fuel tank for next season so around another 3kg .

This is one of my favourite cars I see on the hills, always perfectly prepared & getting quicker & quicker.

Light weight tank now fitted, so that's another few kg gone ;)

Yup, I saw that.

TBH, It didn't surprise me with the amount of rain we have had. That April meeting has also been cancelled in previous years because of a boggy field too. Fingers crossed for some decent weather & a bit of wind.
