Yes, undisputed. Just a bit of an oxymoron though.mk1 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 17, 2023 3:42 pmIn all fairness, the owner is not claiming anything that it isn't. The log book change is from the days when the DVLA would swap the name of a vehicle if you asjked them nicely. I reckon it's all of it's money at the current bid of £15 K though.johnv wrote: ↑Thu Aug 17, 2023 3:33 pm https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-1965 ... noapp=true

I'm liking the complete lack of seam under the headlight, but only on one side!Old English White wrote: ↑Thu Aug 17, 2023 4:36 pm A lot of good bits there but the oversills don't add to it do they and I've never seen a brand new Newton trim kit so badly fitted:?

A good advert though - it should discourage the dreamers.
It's a V5 and collection of mechanical bits looking for a shell but it's a bit too much coin.

………“For some reason does not have a twin tank” unless it says it had one on the HC, might show some gaps in knowledge about what he has ?
Looks like he think's its worth £20K ish - in current DVLA climate, to part with that much money, without a guarantee of a V5, would worry me, quite a lot.

Even without the ‘celebrity’ connection, an unrestored 21k miles from new mk11 Mini Cooper with documented history is a rare maybe unique car these days.

Back in the 1970's my brothers and I used to search out Triumph Heralds in scrap yards to remove the Webasto sunroof which seemed to be fitted as standard to many of them. We would then recondition/recover them if required and they were the ideal size to fit to Minis if you were brave enough to cut the hole and fit a couple of steel strengthening bars each end under the roof lining.sugarhiccup wrote: ↑Sun Aug 20, 2023 10:33 pm Webasto Sunroof
