The unfortunate offspring of a menage -e-trois between a mini van, a mobile library and a baguette sellers van?

Or a photoshop'd morphing of a renault '50s van onto a Mini?

These are made in Japan, but with a japanese engine (maybe Dahihatsu)

With dimensions like that, I can only assume they were built for a race of people who are about 15 feet tall.
