Grey carpet sets

Can anybody recommend a decent carpet for a Mk 1 Island blue Cooper S. Grey colour wanted. Not that impressed with my last set of Newtons. Cheers. Mark

i made my own in my smoke grey 62 with great success from a roll end,which had a similar grain to original

fcv66 used a "carvelle" carpet which seems good
drop him a pm

my last newton carpet took a lot of work to fit,,
fitted "like a glove on a chickens head"

Is the correct carpet for an Island Blue Mk1 Cooper S grey or light blue?

Ooh good point. Hadn't considered blue. You've might just have saved me from being lynched by the purists.
Anyone confirm what colour Isalnd Blue 66 S carpet should be??

It should be Grey in Island Blue Mk1 Coopers and yes there's little out there that looks anything like. I'd be tempted , as has been suggested before a few times on here, that you look for some cheap carpet and make your own set up from the nearest colour match because those Newton jobs are sooooo far out (dark) for that kind of money, and far too 'fitted'.

Ok. Thanks for the advice guys. Not sure if I am much further forward as I have never seen the correct carpet in a MK 1. Anybody happen to have some pictures of what I should be trying to assimilate (good word ) C'mon, show me yours

too many surf blue coopers and supers with powder blue carpets too...
looks soooooo wrong,,
