Was "rescued from the jaws of the scrapman just a few weeks ago"
This is a reference to the Volvo 1800S and NOT the Ex Works Mini Cooper! :o

If you are looking for a real classic steeringwheel for your Mini this is a nice one.
AVANTI is a real British wheel and not Italian as the name sounds.
I have nothing to do with it, can't and will not buy it because of the silly Braxit.

A lot of money for a 998 with a lot of non original features. No hydrolastic for a start. Nice car just too much, a perfectly original Mk2 998 isn't even worth that.

If they see that ad they will think they're sitting on a goldmine. Don't get me wrong, I'd be happy to see the Mk2 998 more highly valued but not based on something like that. What's going on with the grey subbies?, why would you do that ?.

Yes, but it has got its 'original' Stewart and Ardern dealership sticker just like this one. It has lasted well.

The magnesium minilites that I have appear to be pure, as a couple of shards I removed burned quite spectacularly!!
Reminded me of chemistry lessons in school 😂
