It's another one of those cant really be used Mini's it will probably end getting mothballed and trailered to the odd event.mab01uk wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 11:31 pm 1999 Mini Knightsbridge.

Re: WTH??!?! Have you seen this item on ebay.
It went to auction before but did not sell at £22,000. The car has 71,000 miles on the clock. The seller must be mad not taking £22,000 for a well used Rover Mini, despite the history of it being a press car. Some people have, what I think, really daft ideas of what a car is worth.nick@dunsdale wrote: ↑Mon Nov 07, 2022 8:56 amIt's another one of those cant really be used Mini's it will probably end getting mothballed and trailered to the odd event.mab01uk wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 11:31 pm 1999 Mini Knightsbridge.

Not on Ebay, and influenced by the Counts thread on the Inno 950C
Less than 8,000 Euros will bag you this. It will have loads of people scratching their head when you take it to the next classic car show.

Haha, I was hoping that nobody else would spot that one It looks very correct, original spec doesn't it - not surprising after so many years off the road. A great project , as you say
Re: WTH??!?! Have you seen this item on ebay.
Apart from the obviously replaced accident damaged front panel, front wing and inner wing.Old English White wrote: ↑Tue Nov 22, 2022 2:10 pm Haha, I was hoping that nobody else would spot that one It looks very correct, original spec doesn't it -
It has all the hard to find parts like the steering wheel centre and the small button air vets. Also looks like it had a twin tank conversion at some point. Hopefully the body will get restored and not replaced with a new Heritage jobbie.
By the way, the current price (£6.200) is only £1,000 short of what I paid for my Teal Blue car 8 years ago.

Early 1275GTs have increased a lot in value/popularity haven't they. Rare cars now - and considered more desirable than they once were too.surfblue63 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 22, 2022 2:38 pmApart from the obviously replaced accident damaged front panel, front wing and inner wing.Old English White wrote: ↑Tue Nov 22, 2022 2:10 pm Haha, I was hoping that nobody else would spot that one It looks very correct, original spec doesn't it -

There are certainly not many Coopers available for restoration which are as correct and original as that GT.

I've seen a few Restall's on those runners. Are they a Ford fitment, as the mini ones I'm familiar with are more traditional tubular steel?UHR850 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 22, 2022 12:43 pm RESTALL SEAT TYPE 1
