I’m sure he’s aware. Good to hear that I was correct in thinking it was 1997 rather than 1996. 😀😉

The 'off' was on the 1999 Rallye Bristowe miles from any civilisation. Not so much a big off as we didn't go far off, more of a hard off; I had some impressive and extensive bruising after that; a rare mistake by Ian during the years I sat next to him. :( Didn't put us off too much as we were back out on that years Downs a few weeks later.

Those West Country banks are very hard arnt they Simon, all part of the cars history.

Does the car still run a 296 cam? Can still see the black tyre marks on the road from when it did in the ‘90s😂

Yes Cookie the car still has that cam and the Webber, it will probably get changed for a Kent 310mor a Piper 320. I didn't drive the car with the sprint spec engine the last time out it had the FIA spec 1293!
