The 'off' was on the 1999 Rallye Bristowe miles from any civilisation. Not so much a big off as we didn't go far off, more of a hard off; I had some impressive and extensive bruising after that; a rare mistake by Ian during the years I sat next to him. Didn't put us off too much as we were back out on that years Downs a few weeks later.

Does the car still run a 296 cam? Can still see the black tyre marks on the road from when it did in the ‘90s

Yes Cookie the car still has that cam and the Webber, it will probably get changed for a Kent 310mor a Piper 320. I didn't drive the car with the sprint spec engine the last time out it had the FIA spec 1293!
