Re: Austin Mini 1967
Hi Wesley.
I have the same Seatbelts in my Cooper. I fixed them on the parcel shelf with a selfmade Fixing point.
The problem is that in terms of safety this method is not the best should you ever have a Crash...

Re: Austin Mini 1967
In my Option the angle is not ideal.
On race car builds, whe always looked that the belt over the shoulders is almost in a horizontal line

Re: Austin Mini 1967
I found this helpful diagram on the FIAs website. I’m not saying it’s absolutely necessary to be within these angles for a street driven car. But would likely be the safest bet if possible.

Re: Austin Mini 1967
Hi
thanks Fanfaniracing !!! but I have already a other option for on the parcel shelf.
I don't want to big because I have already a plate from my roll cage on the parcel shelf.
For the moment the mini is not home, I must take it to watch good
Today I was in England to pick up my seats Wonderfull day for me
Next update is with photo when it is in the car

Re: Austin Mini 1967
About those wonderful seats; were subframes (runners) included with the purchase? If not, did you fabricate some of your own or are bolt-on runners readily available ?

Re: Austin Mini 1967
Hi,
yes I have bought the frames by the same company. That was the easy way.
Cheers

Re: Austin Mini 1967
Thanks, he no longer offers runners - only seats. I'm not comfortable buying runners elsewhere, as they might not fit.
There's another seller, yes, but he does not export, so no Microcell seats for me.
