Bo'ness 2022

Post by mk1 »

Adam & I have just got back from as cracking weekend at Bo'ness.

Was good to meet up with Al & Robb, & had a really good time at the hillclimb. I was 1st in class, Adam was 2nd both days, not difficult when it was a class of 2. But the car went really well. Was only spoiled a bit by a spot of oil in the water on Sunday & of course by me crashing into a tree. Not much damage done, but it put a stop to our fun a bit early.

Have a few ideas to work on over the winter, so we will see what emerges from the Bat cave in early April.

Gordon, I am sure you are right on all counts!

Adam gave me plenty of earache on the way home, he was very happy to remind me that it was only when he got within a 10th of a second of my time that I cracked under pressure. He was probably right.

oops!

Was good to see you all, and all I'll say is it was all in one piece when I left on Saturday, so I must have been the steadying influence

I missed this as I thought it wasn't being held this year. Was it the same format as previous years ?.

It was run as a straight forward hillclimb, without the car show. I think the car show may return next year, but just getting an event on for 2022 was the priority.
