That’s interesting as I’d come across the Polled spelling before but was led to believe that he was involved on the parts side at F English.

Haven’t seen that article from CCC before but will need to get a copy because the Mexico they are referring to in the piece is this very car !! Interesting they say a 4:1 diff though as when it was sold on in 72 it was fitted with a 4:4.

Also clarifies the connection between Geoff Finney and Garry. They obviously weren’t just picking up their cars on the same day randomly.

Just thought I'd give a little update now that NTK is "mostly" complete and running.

Still looking for any further information that may be available but should be down at the NEC Classic Car Show in November on the AVO Owners Club stand...have also hopefully arranged for John Maddox and his navigator David Trim to come along to see the car for the first time in 50 years !

Looks interesting. I only went there once as a nipper 40 or 50 years ago and expect the building has long gone.
