Good spot Nidge, that is Terry. Very rare sighting, despite the fact he was everywhere with the Beatles.

Elusive chap is Mr.Doran! Here he is at the 'Pepper' cover photo session on 30/3/67 at Michael Cooper's studio in Flood Street, Chelsea....

I wonder which of the Beatles Minis were parked outside that day.... ;)

Have we seen this before...? We know the car is or was in a museum in Hawai but the dates for Brydor Cars buying the Beatles a Mini each are at least a year out of kilter, if at all true, as John and George's Radfords were both definitely registered on 6th February 1966...

Is this Epstein's car or was it used by one of the band...?

It's not John's car 'LGF 696D' in disguise is it...?

The last owner on the buff logbook is an Antiques dealer (still going), Antiques dealers are usually quite good at “researching” histories ;)
Could that of been its last stop before going on its holidays abroad ?

Looks like G Schmidt was the last U.K. owner. It’s an interesting car that was definitely seen in the U.K. before it left but any Lennon connection is pure fantasy. Definitely in the Brydor book aswell and the chassis number ties up to the purchase date.

That's not the car, and it's not George Harrison - I'm pretty sure it's a still from a film.

I have to admit that I know absolutely jack sh1t about Beatle Minis, but I think Costa may be onto something. There are a number of things on the car above that don't seem to appear in any other pics of GH's car. The wing mirrors, wheel arch extensions & tax disk positioning for example.

That said, it is complicated by the fact that this car has been totally refreshed at least once.

Clapton had it after George. Toothy one on the left looks like him to me.

As an enthusiastic young driver in the late 1960s I remember it was all the rage to put the tax disc behind the rear view mirror so you had nothing to obstruct your vision if the car went out of line. :D Oh yes and somewhere to put the Helphos for the navigator.

100% George’s car looking very tired. That’s George I think with Klaus Voormann from Manfred Mann who was pretty close with all of them or is it Clapton? Need to look on a bigger screen! 🧐
