Car park of the Fortes Excelsior Hotel next to Heathrow, 66 RAC. Lampinen, Makinen, Aaltonen M, Aaltonen R.
The RAC never had a Parc Ferme between scrutineering and start - then or much later on - hence all the photos.
First time I drove we worked on my car to midnight back at hotel after scrutineering. I recall changing the alternator, then taking it off again because I dropped a bolt into it...
