I paused it for the screen grab as soon as I saw it was Minty!

Brands Hatch 1965 - Martin Davidson WER 113
Sadly I have just been informed that Martin Davidson died suddenly on 23rd February 2022.
Martin was recently interviewed about his racing days and his many memories of those times by MiniWorld magazine for an article that is due to be published in a future issue along with some great period photos of him in action in his various Minis.

Oh how sad, he also popped up on Facebook recently. Sincere condolences Martin.

Think this picture is from early 60's possibly from Aintree. Don't have any details.

You can see Petes Minty nudging into the shot.
I'd like to see a shot of one of the Aurora Minis on the back of that Splitscreen VW pick-up.

Yes it’s the Aurora Gear Minis of Trevor and Anita Taylor at Aintree in April 1964. Here’s a shot from Brands British GP and Oulton Park Gold Cup later in the year. Not seen a photo of a Mini on the back of their VW pickup yet.

Yes Liz Jones is the blonde. Where are these great colour Aintree photos coming from?
