Lovely cars, and great to see a basic mini
I have a 1962 Morris basic, being rebuilt at the moment, but your photos are great for reference when it comes to bolting everything back on

had to have front seats redone,as it had wrong seats fitted(had austin deluxe items fitted in front)
ours is an export model(but never left uk) so has a different weave of cloth
we had to have it woven to suit the cars other trim pattern
if u notice ,also, basics didnt normally have the fluting rpn646 has,,
its got the same fluting as a pre nov 59 morris deluxe
seen a few ckd or export basics with different pattern cloth
for my sins,i own a 1957 wolsleley 1500

Re: cherry red 60 morris deluxe and basic
I have powder blue vinyl seats, as when I got the car the interior was half missing. No original seats but the door cards and rear cards were there in powder blue but were painted black.
So I guessed it would be vinyl.
It's a may 62 car. It's around the time they started to change them I think. Not 100% sure if it has a white/cream grill or chrome. But I have both just in case.
It's got bolt on seat brackets, but high seat belt mounting points. Wiper is dated 3/62
But it is a basic. No over riders or corner bars, black window rbber infill, silver face speedo,
