A sticker covering a bit of rust which was already coming through??

Seriously, I imagine a plaque to commemorate the occasion of 1,000,000 Minis being built?

Strangely, I am not right in thinking that on the Cowley assembly line, not to be outdone, they also had a celebration to claim assembly of the 1,000,000th Mini? And produced a Tartan Red Morris Mini said to be that car??

It's a six wheeler conversion job, probably the same one used by Gerry Anderson when filming 'UFO' in 1969 and 70 ;)

It's a small silver plaque saying that this is the 1,000,000th mini produced.

I was parked next to it at a Mini show many, many years ago.

I went to that VW museum a few years ago. What a place, so many historic vehicles displayed in several different buildings from Skoda to Bugatti (to name just 2). Not just VW group vehicles.
I have a very tolerant wife who also navigated me to the Wartburg museum on or near the site where the Opel Adam as built.
Well worth the trip.
Maybe I'll check my photo archive and add a few images?
