Hi, I'm Lee from Nr Selby in North Yorkshire and I've been fiddling with Minis with varying levels of success for 20 years now
Ive owned 9 minis if you include my 07 Cooper S daily.
My current toy is a Island Blue 1966 Austin Mk1 known to everyone in our house as Avril.
I'm currently working on a new engine for the old girl.
As well as minis i've own a few other interesting cars such as a 70s S class Mercedes, MGs and and Avenger Tiger.
The car I most regret selling was my 73 Mini 1275GT, i'd have it back tomorrow if I could.
I've been dipping in and out of this forum in it many guises for a few years now and this new section has suprised me, I didn't realise there were so many great cars in the north of England!
Hello from Yorkshire

Hi, yes the church is in Birkin, just up the road.
I'm in Eggborough.
I know Monk Fryston well, I work for the Highways Agency and had deal with that section of the A63.
