I am looking for an 4 - 41/2 gallon alloy foam filled fuel tank, for a customer, and thought I would ask here if you know of a good source that you would recomend.
I remember seeing a round tank that fitted in the wheel well but they will probably be expensive.
Your thoughts please

Re: alloy fuel tanks
I assume it's for racing if he wants foam filled, in which case it will be expensive, and used will be a false economy.
There are a couple of guys selling custom foam filled alloy tanks on ebay (not sure if they have MSA/FIA certs though), and there is a guy who does Lotus 11 stuff who does custom ones. You could try rallydesign who mostly do Ford escort stuff, but used to be a lot cheaper than Deamon tweeks
Al
Edit: I think these are the guys my pal had make (and fit) him a custom tank for his scimitar coupe. they did a crackin' job and weren't too dear, though I can't recall the exact figure.

This fits nicely into the spare wheel well.

Give Bob Hall at Concept Racing a call.... He can make you a nice tank that will fit into the spare wheel well.
