Is that possibly the worst ever colour/ interior combo ever offered on the 1275GT!? Catshit brown with plain velour trim. At least the later dogshit brown GTs had stripey seats.
That's the splendid combination of Antique Gold and Almond, very rare nowadays.

That will probably get turned into a 10" wheel car in Vermillion with Black chairs no doubt and be advertised as original in six months time.

Those velour seats never lasted well did they  It might be rare but I think that is a ghastly colour  The roof looks quite rot-free and it does have the correct steering wheel so there are at least two positive things going for it :?
To my shame I can remember at work we fitted loads of those dreadful "oversills" to old Minis in the 1970s and 1980s to quickly get them through another MOT or two
I'd quite fancy a 1275GT now but it would have to be earlier than that and in a brighter colour.

Are they not MGB LE wheels or are they the same thing?

Yes you are right, those wheels were used by MG, first on the MGB GT V8 and then the 1975 MGB Jubilee. There were supplied by Dunlop so are the D4 wheel.

Go on.......,someone tell me that that JPS Allegro is a spoof....., please!

As a matter of interest (or very little interest here...) the VP Allegro and the MGB GT's shown here were all partially assembled at Abingdon

Obviously for when they are having a large picnic and the tables inside are not big enough.
