Not “new” photos but didn’t think they’d been posted here. Monza March 68. I’ve just added to and re-edited a two part article Mike Taylor has written on Harry/Vita which will be in Mini World magazine in December. Not much startlingly new in it to be fair as pretty much all the Vita team players have now gone, including Brian Gillibrand who I’d never spoken to but finally tracked down only a few months before he died I’m very sad to say.

Thanks for posting those Pete
I had not seen either of those pictures.
They look like quite high resolution for a change.
The links with the Vita Team become ever more tenuous as time marches on.
Norman did give me lots of new information when I last saw him, we planned to get more of his memories of the travels and time based in Austria in 1968 recorded, but fate intervened, such a tragic loss of all his knowledge.

These are all off the Dutch website, there’s two more but they won’t load.

Pete, they probably will load because each post has a limit of 5 attachments.

You are absolutely right about that, the bare shell was first a 600 and converted into a 1000 Abarth.
This must be an original and bought new like this.

Hi Pete
Nothing to show you really.
I'm afraid that following our invitation to the Le Mans Classic with the TR2 I have been concentrating on the TR.
Combined with the fact that Alex is flat out renovating a house and Motorsport work has totally gone crazy, he is not available to share the work which he desperately wants to do for the experience.
Some progress on HDK 443E with a couple of new panels that were needed all jigged in place for welding, he's not so keen to work on that car !!
We do plan to move forward on KDK 320F during the Winter though when things should settle down by then.

This is an original Abarth Factory 1000TCR racer, used by Ab Goedemans in 1968. He was a semi factory driver an on his way to a full factory contract. His untimely death meant he missed out on the 1968 European title as before his death he won all he attended. He only did 4 of the 11 rounds of the championship and was still 3th in the overall standing at the end of the year. September 2nd of 1968 Goedemans died in a crash with an Abarth 1000SP at the Nürburgring during the training for the ADAC 500 km rennen.
