The marigold van appears to have been in the Duke of London workshop at one point
not sure if they are the seller ?
Seem to remember another thread with another Mini in last couple of months that had passed through their hands.

Can be seen further down the page with their Livery on it.... dated 2017

Last time I saw that Marigold van it had ‘Mr Fish’ emblazoned across the side panels. (Think it’s a posh London shirt maker)

Also at the SWA auction is this Mk3 1000 Saloon. Looks to have had paint/body repairs earlier, warranted low miles 2 owner car. Low estimate.

Either drive as is, or do some light restoration. Very rare now to see a Mk3 1000 that has not been messed with.

My post according to DVLA is a Ford based KHALEEJ! So I'm not sure it qualifies as a Moke or an Austin but what do I know!
A bit more info in the cars description 'a modern take on the moke', if only I could get over the grille!

Is this real?
I've never seen one.
I do hope not, it looks like some ones put wheels on a fishpond

It's a Khaleej Scarab, based on Ford Ka(K) mechanicals. 5 were made, but the project failed. Why the seller thinks they can associate with the Mini Moke, who knows. Looks like a beach buggy with the engine in the wrong place to me.

Memory loss comes to us all in the end. Her indoors is always saying she said this and she said that and I never have any recollection of the conversation, especially if it was more than a day ago.

Just the sort of Minis that I was buying and selling in the eighties. I don't think I ever paid more than £100 for one before doing the usual repairs and flogging for around £500.

The best one was a super clean Harvest gold Mini 1000 TMO626M. I bought it in 1986 needing a sill step for £30. It owed me less than £100 fixed with an MOT, down the road three days after advertising it for £600. No Chinese parts roulette either.

Is that possibly the worst ever colour/ interior combo ever offered on the 1275GT!? Catshit brown with plain velour trim. At least the later dogshit brown GTs had stripey seats.
