Re: Goodwood Live Feed
Completely wrecked Endaf’s race when he was potentially on for a podium. Certainly made life a little easier for Swifty.
Re: Goodwood Live Feed
I think the race was wrecked by it being a two driver affair. Never been a fan of those as it always breaks up the action and the cars rarely get back together again.
And I thought Endaf was a gonna when he started fishtailing through the chicane.

Can't better the reactions of a Welsh Mini driver; it's in their blood. Well done.

I agree Stuart, it would have been better to have had a 45 minute race with one driver throughout or have two separate 20 minute races where they have Le Mans winners, ex-F1 drivers, etc taking part as guest drivers.surfblue63 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 4:03 pm I think the race was wrecked by it being a two driver affair. Re: Goodwood Live Feed
From the end pit, as Endaf disappeared off to the left in the middle of what was obviously a spin, we fully expected to see his car come up into view as he bounced off the tyrewall or come skittering back into view as a wreck...
Unbelievable save.

Re: Goodwood Live Feed
No live feed for the Members meeting today? Sad to see Mark B not quite manage to get his Clubby Estate ready to race in time.
Re: Goodwood Live Feed
There is a live feed for Members and Goodwood Fellowship subscribers. If you are either of these then you need to go to the Goodwood site and sign in for the feed.
I guess that's why the name of the meeting is the Members Meeting.

Re: Goodwood Live Feed
Im still trying to work out if that’s sarcasm or not. . They televised it live in 2019 but I was there so don’t know if they streamed on YouTube aswell. I’ll watch via the website then, Gerry Marshall Trophy heats start at 15.15!surfblue63 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 16, 2021 10:48 am There is a live feed for Members and Goodwood Fellowship subscribers. No sarcasm intended.
I went to the Members Meetings from the second one (73rd) when I joined the waiting list for GRRC membership. It was a good event with a very fairly small crowd, well for Goodwood. Then they introduced the fellowship and as I was invited to be a member. I guess a lot of people had dropped off the GRRC waiting list so I grabbed the opportunity and joined up.
At the 75th Meeting I thought the crowd had grown in size as it was not so easy to move about and get good vantage points without be jostled by others. I missed the 76th because of the predicted snow and on returning for the 77th I found the crowds even larger. I was going to go to the 78th, but we all know why that was cancelled, but also let my membership lapse. I could be there this weekend but have not bothered as it is just becoming another over subscribed Goodwood event.
The keep running the same events all the time so when you've been to 4 or 5 meetings they all kind of blur into one another. The only variety are the demo runs and the odd one-make/model race, but for me that just isn't enough to be rubbing shoulders with the rest of the spectators.
The same thing happened with the FoS, which was great in the early years, but became more corporate and over crowded. I've not been since 2010. I feel the same about the Revival, to much pantomime and the same old races with the same cars. It's a pity but the success has kind of ruined it for me.
I'll just have to get my historic kicks at Oulton, Cadwell and Brands from now on where I know all the good spots that won't have phone carrying knob heads spoiling the view.

For future reference - from the Ten-Tenths forum:-
"Hi, you can watch free, it’s been working since 10am.
Go to timetable page, click view live.
Under the ‘offer’ is a link to “no thanks, start free stream now”.
Click there and it displays coverage - see attachments.
BEFORE you do this, and each time you leave site
and try to rejoin, you may have to clear browsing
history."

Worked a treat, even downunder:-

It was a pain being chucked out and having to go back into the free stream every half hour or so....
