I've had a couple of R1 powered track cars, much revvier that a busa and unfortunately not a mini!
The last one was a Stuart Taylor designed one. It was gobsmacking! I would but it back if I could find it!

Most track day Mini's can do that. All you have to do is wait for the Porsche driver to slam his brakes on when he sees a corner approaching

OK and I am a fairy, my name is nuff, fairy nuff.
But I would like to think that steel spheroids had something to do with shooting past him!
The irony is that I know the owner of that Porsche and having thrashed it at track days (respect to him!!) he sold it a year later for a significant profit.
But my little kit car could do 5 to 6 track days and still not need any consumables!
Bottom line....I sold it and own a Mini.
