Yes - quite rare as the buttons often break and come loose. Very neat too. I think 69 and very early 1970 built cars had Kangol Magnet type static belts (like earlier cars) with BL logos on the buckles - that is certainly the case for TFR (built late March / early April) and I've seen it on a few earlier cars. So I think the twin floor mounted buckle with the Kangol arrow belts must have come in in mid - late 1970. Not a good photo of TFR - but the belt just visible hanging up is a standard Kangol Magnet 3 point - I'll look for a better one.

Here is the later buckle in a 73 car with inertia belts - there is also a static version (the Kangol arrow) using the same buckle that came between Kangol Magnet belts and this inertia type

The buttons were black on my 1971 Mk3 Mini originally but when the floor mounted buckle section broke many years ago, I replaced it with the floor buckle from a later Mini which had the bright orange press stickers on the buttons, now faded by the sun in my current Mini above. The later Kangol inertia belts used with floor mounted stalks also had the same buckle fixing, so I now have the static floor mounted sockets but with Kangol inertia belts, a combination which works well with my Recaro seats.
The static belts parked on the side pillar mounting in a black plastic moulding, the original mouldings on mine broke and the BL Dealer replacements had the plastic moulding 'beefed up' in the broken area, so I guess it was a common failure point. I always thought this single handed system was better than the later stalks fitted, especially if you had low aftermarket bucket style seats.

I must say, its quite interesting seeing the differences between the overseas GT and the South African GT. We had the MK1 bootlid, but unfortunately we never had the boot board brackets. We also had a MK1 interior light, not sure if yours was the same. Our early cars also had Hydro suspension.
