Rollcage mounting plates

How have you guys fitted the spreader plate inside the rear bins?
It looks bloody awkward, anyone got a pic?

On the Historics the rear bins are removed, the plates / cage welded in position and then the bins are weld back in.

Anyone done it with the bins insitu?

Yep, I put the cage in positioned the strengthening plates. Tacked 'em in place then drilled the holes, took the cage out again and welded up the plates.

pulled the bins out completely on mine

but bought 2 new ones and made them so they just screw in and out with a couple of rivnuts

you can just see a rivnut fixing in the photo
