Re: Austin Mini 1967
I wish this was possible in the Netherlands,
my number plate on my mk3 would be UHR850.

Re: Austin Mini 1967
Move to Austria - it's even cheaper here at ~250€ and you have the benefit of mountain roads that make perfect fun in a Mini.
Yes I am a nerd: I am researching the Austrian Mini-racing scene of the 60s and 70s

Re: Austin Mini 1967
You are lucky! here in ireland you will pay 1000 euro for a new car limited digit number (no letters) personalised plate, (if you can call it that) and you cant retain it if you change the car, it goes to the next owner!

Re: Austin Mini 1967
At least there is room enough in your country,
over here in the Netherlands everything it full.
The west is overcrowded but in the east there is more room to have a nice drive. My neighbor's are all very close to my huis BUT I have a large garage to enjoy my hobby. I live 20km from Amsterdam so in the centre of the Netherlands.
