Yeah I know, seems to be a vast amount of this type of listing posted everyday. What do they gain from it, a buyer sending a deposit (or worse the whole amount) and no car to show for it? Are people really so gullible?

That GT looks interesting and would have been interested in having a look at that if I wasn’t away for the week at the other end of the country.

A lovely looking car, but not in its original (or even a GT) shell.Costafortune wrote: ↑Thu Jun 10, 2021 2:16 pm Not on Ebay, but even so......

O whow, that's a beauty and in the best colour you can get. I love the Antelope colour very much after my own Bronze Yellow mk3.

Brocade prices seem nuts at the moment. I certainly didn't win the bid for the two rather used wheel arch covers!!
Just under £140 quid for these??

Indeed - it was in an auction. Re-shell - wrong in almost every respect - should be hydro, round tunnel. Lovely looking though and a great early colour....nick@dunsdale wrote: ↑Fri Jun 11, 2021 10:19 am I am sure that GT was on ebay in the past and discussed somewhere further back in this thread

It’s a lovely colour but a 1970 should have:
(a) thé bonnet prop on the other side
(b) no holes / grommets in the inner wings
(c) hydrolastic suspension
(d) chrome eyeball air vents
(e) a heater control panel with a bright metal surround
(f) a 6500 red line Rev counter
(g) a cumulus grey switch panel
(h) veltone carpets
(I) vinyl on the rear companion bins
(j) stitched rather than electrically welded pocketing on the seats
(k) a heated rear window switch under the dash rail on the drivers side
(l) 10 inch rostyle steel wheels
(m) a body number on the front slam panel
(n) BL Kangol magnet seat belts or early static Kangol belts with the twin buckle mounted to the rear tunnel in front of the ashtray.

So it’s been detailed a bit (eg the switch panel) since Bonhams…
