How To Section

Hi All. How about a dedicated section where people put up a 'How to'... guide to do things. An example might be hanging Mk 1 doors, rebushing radius arms, carbs etc. This is without question one of the friendliest forums I have come across and I am continually amazed how many knowledgable helpful people there are on here who are willing to share information. A photographic step by step approach in its own section would be of huge value and make it easy to refer to as we rebuild our cars. Any thoughts welcomed. Cheers. Mark

New How to section is set up & I have got the ball rolling.

Any other contributions are welcome.

If every member of the forum did 1 how to, we would cover all the jobs on a Mini almost instantly.

Not sure if easy to do but how about adding the facility to 'score' or acknowledge the contributing member?
The 'how to' bit might not generate a response as such and they might feel like nobody has benefitted??? Or you could ignore this and get all of us to 'man up' a bit and stop worrying! Cheers. Mark

1) use travellers cheques - they are untraceable

2) get the stuff sent to other addresses

3) take your own supermarket carrier bag so she thinks you have just been doing normal shopping

all 'may' have been used by my customers in the past.......

Great idea guys, we have a similar strand over on another forum i help out on, members do find this sort of info very useful and informative, i am happy to do a body repair feature on fitting sills, door skins or any other aspect of bodyshell repair if you think it would be of use, but being a more recent member i wouldn`t want to tread on anyone elses` toes, especially as so many of you guys seem to know what you are doing already

Fill yer boots Frank. The idea is to share information and everybody on here would benefit. It would be ideal to have a photographs to help support any guidance. I will be fitting a few body panels soon soon and would love to see any tips you have. Mark

OK Mark, will do, i have a mini city coming in next week for a new sill and front floor repair, i will take some snaps as i go and see if i can work them into a useful " How to fit a new sill" thread
